WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is a type of semi permanent makeup just for eyebrows. Microblading is done using a freehand blade, as opposed to tattooing which is done by machine. When having your brows tattooed, the pigment goes all the way down to the bottom of the epidermis (your skin), with microblading the pigment only goes to the top layer of your epidermis.
The blades used are extremely thin, this enables me to create hair strokes that you have to second guess whether it’s a natural hair or not. I am able to create a more “powdered” effect using a different type of blade if thats whats preferable.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Microblading lasts around a year to 18 months. Unlike traditional tattooing methods, the colour fades almost completely. This is an ideal situation for the brows as you’re able to change your brow shape in accordance to trends.
DOES IT HURT?
I use two different anesthetic numbing creams throughout the process, my aim is for you to not feel anything I’m doing! If at any point you feel discomfort, please let me know and I will apply more anesthetic.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
Microblading works in 3 parts, Before you have the treatment you will need to come for a patch test and consultation. Approximately 2 days after the patch test and consultation, you will have your first microblading session. The session will be around an hour and 15 minutes. After the first session you will need to wait 4-6 weeks for the brows to heal, you will then have another session to complete your brows.
HOW MUCH IS MICROBLADING?
I charge £275 for my microblading services, the patch test and a top up is included in this price. Dependant on skin type, third top up may be required. This Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for bookings and more information.
